1971 PONTIAC LEMANS SPORT ENDURO FRONT END, CONVERTIBLE, PHS DOCS,
400 CI This is one good looking Lemans sport convertible. It wears
its factory color, code 75 Cardinal Red and features a white
convertible top which really stands out against the red exterior.
The paint is like glass. The body is exceptionally clean. Looking
down both sides, it is very straight. It has a nice power white
convertible top with rear window glass. It has a few upgrades, a
hood tach and rear wing which really adds that WOW factor. It has
new door seals and new weather stripping. The rear bumper has been
rechromed. It sits on a set of original Rally II wheels with new
BFG T/A radial tires. The interior of this GTO is in excellent
shape. The white bucket seat interior really pops against the red
exterior. It has the optional bucket seat and in between them is a
factory console with automatic shifter coming out of it. The door
panels are very nice. Looking forward at the dash, all the gauges
are nice and the lenses are clear. The original dash pad has a few
minor cracks on top. It features aftermarket GTO floor mats in the
front and a retro AM/FM radio. Overall the interior is in very good
shape. The undercarriage is very impressive. It appears to be all
clean and original metal, no signs of any patches. As I looked up
at the motor, I noticed it to be very clean as well as the Turbo
400 transmission. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. It
also has a factory style exhaust system with a F41 suspension which
has front and rear sway bars and rear lower boxed in control arms.
Everything appears to be correct. The engine compartment is very
impressive, detailed to factory specs. The engine has been upgraded
to 400 ci, bearing casting #9799914. It has been completely
rebuilt. It has the correct manifolds, dual snorkel air cleaner and
chrome valve covers. Some other features include: power steering
and power front disc brakes. The trunk compartment is rock solid
original metal. The trunk floor is spatter painted. It comes
equipped with a spare tire and jack assembly. This is a gorgeous
and rare Lemans Sport. It features desirable colors with the
optional Enduro front end option. It has been very well cared for!
