I am pleased to offer the opportunity to own this super-rare 1958
Chevrolet Corvette in Tuxedo Black with Silver coves & Red
interior, which comes with an amazing, documented story. The 1958
Chevrolet Corvette was a prototype year, being the only year with
the louvered hood & chrome trunk spears. And, to make it even more
interesting, only 199 examples were produced in this exact color
combination. Most 58's was sold complete with the hardtop/ soft-top
option. Though the Black vinyl convertible top was recently
replaced, this example is a hardtop-delete making it even more
interesting. The car was sold brand-new in Ontario, Canada at North
York Chevrolet-Oldsmobile. It lived in Ontario for most of its
life, with much of that time adorning a dealership showroom not for
sale, but to be admired. Eventually, it was sold to a collector
where it made the 6000+ mile trek to Helsinki, Finland, where it
was stored and maintained in its original condition for over a
decade. The car has had a slight paint correction and new red hides
added to the interior, but overall, this is a highly documented,
unrestored survivor that has never been titled in the United
States. The investment-quality Vette has the original 283 V8 with
2-4's, backed by the original 3-speed manual transmission and runs
fantastic! The "patina" on the paint is magnificent, as they are
only original once. The images will demonstrate an alternator as
well as a few other noticeable changes performed, but please know
the original generator as well as the other original parts are
included with purchase. The Vette made its return-to-America (after
66 years) debut at the 2023 Pigeon Forge Corvette Expo and was well
received by the best of fans. The new owner will receive a book
with many service records, documentation, notes, receipts, all
confirming this is an unrestored, rare example of the 1958
Chevrolet Corvette with only 44k miles. Serious inquiries only.
