Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this Stunning 1977 Factory Black Trans AM which still retains its original numbers matching Pontiac 400 engine which was fully rebuilt with nearly 480HP. This TA has been fully restored and comes with a large folder full of service records and receipts. The underside of this TA has been fully restored and in show condition with many performance upgrades. This special TA features a very nice repaint in factory black, a mostly stock fantastic firethorn red cloth interior, the original 400 Pontiac engine, and numerous service records/receipts. This Trans Am has no visible rust anywhere and is very solid with great lines and gaps. There is no bubbling or cracked paint anywhere on the body. The underside is in fully detailed restored condition with many upgrades. There are no rust concerns anywhere on the frame, floors, rockers, trunk, or tail panel. This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of black over red deluxe cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above.
Exterior
The Black exterior is in beautiful restored condition. This Trans Am features a repaint in Factory Black paint which is in very nice overall condition and shows well. This TA went with the all black theme with no decals or emblems although those could be added of course. This TA has an aggressive stance and appearance with the brawn to back it up. The paint is in great condition and has a nice gloss and is smooth to the touch and there are no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking paint. The tires have nearly full tread and the upgraded 17x9 Snowflake wheels are in new condition. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great like new condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with a new factory style trunk mat.
Interior
The red deluxe cloth interior of this Trans Am is stock restored and in excellent overall condition. The seat covers are in great condition with no major wear. The carpet was replaced with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in superb condition with no cracks, no warping, and no fading. The dash bezel is original and looks beautiful in the car and is in spectacular condition. The radio area has not been cut on at all and is in original stock shape with a block off plate installed. The door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition with no rips and is not sagging at all. The package tray is in great shape and was replaced. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, wipers, power door locks, and blower motor all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Trans Am is in excellent mechanical condition and has been mechanically restored with many performance upgrades. Most importantly the original Pontiac 400 engine is still in the car with matching numbers. The engine was fully restored with several performance upgrades like Edelbrock intake and cylinder heads. True Pypes exhaust with headers was added which gives this TA a nice rumble at idle and cruising speeds. This TA runs and drives very well. In the video one can observe this car running and idling perfectly. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The upgraded 4 wheel disk Willwood brakes do not pull and stop as they should. A new mine starter was installed. The suspension was fully restored with many upgraded performance parts including new front and rear springs and shocks. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
