Check out this Incredible & Lifted 1941 Chevrolet 3100-Series 1/2
Ton 4x4 Pickup Truck! All Steel with a Diamond Plate Bed & Tool Box
sitting onto of a Chevrolet K1- Blazer Chassis! This Truck commands
attention everywhere it goes!!! ??The 1941 models featured a
significant redesign with a more modern, "streamlined" look,
including headlights mounted directly into the fenders. It was part
of the AK series, which moved away from using passenger car
chassis, providing a more robust, truck-specific platform. One of
the most noticeable new features was the "Waterfall" Grille
Design.
This Truck in particular was a project with clear objective in mind
... a Lifted 4x4 Show Truck. The owner of this truck made sure to
save as much of the original chrome & even added some
period-correct bumpers to finish the look. He painted the Yellow
Exterior over 10years ago and it still looks great (could use a cut
& buff, but overall a great paint job that stands out)! The Running
boards are full fuctunal with an extra added chrome-Nerf Bar to
allowing stepping into the cabin was ease. The Bed is built to
handle any project! Fully lined with custom fitted Diamond-Plate &
features a Large Tool-Box!
Under the hood is a fully dressed-up 5.7L 350 V8. Chrome Hi-Airflow
Air Cleaner with a Holley 4BBL Carburetor. The Chrome Edelbrock EPS
adds a little extra horsepower, but the Long-Tube Headers increase
the overall sounds of this 4x4. A few updated features included are
Power Steering, Front Powered Disc Brakes & a larger Aluminum
Radiator w/ an electric Fan. This Truck will get down road smooth,
but was built for speed. This is Show Truck and good runner, It
will do highway speeds, but prefers to enjoy cruising around in
town & on the backroads. ??
The Chassis is far from original, but still in the Chevrolet
Line-Up. This Chassis is Chevrolet K10 Blazer (Believed to be from
a 1988-1990 based off the C-16123 Transfer Case). Featuring Lifted
Shock absorbers front & rear with leaf springs for a comfortable
ride. Driving down the road, she's tracks straight and isn't to
difficult to get up inside.
Now the interior is surprising large. I myself am 6-foot/6-inches @
215lbs ... and I actually fit comfortably inside (Please see
video)! The Cabin has a lot of headroom and the steering wheel is
fitted in a way where my legs are not crammed. The Steel Dash still
features it's "crank-out" Windshield, all the gauges are in a nice
clear fuel (speedometer needle is broken, but the odometer still
works). The Leather Bucket Seats are bolted and don't adjust.
