LaFontaine Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1970 Chevrolet
Chevelle SS, finished in a striking Fathom Blue exterior over a
black interior, combining timeless muscle car style with modern
performance upgrades. Under the hood sits a built 396ci V8 with 69
corvette heads, a mild comp camshaft, hydraulic roller rockers, an
Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake manifold, and a Holley 750 Double
Pumper carburetor, delivering strong, responsive power. A Muncie
4-speed manual transmission with an SFI-approved bellhousing puts
the driver fully in control and makes this Chevelle an engaging car
to drive.
Handling and ride quality have been dramatically improved with a
complete RideTech suspension system, incorporating tubular upper
and lower front control arms, coilover suspension, upgraded hubs,
and a RideTech muscle sway bar up front, while the rear features
the full RideTech package with coilovers and a rear sway bar.
Braking performance is equally impressive, thanks to Wilwood
6-piston front disc brakes and 4-piston rear disc brakes, providing
modern stopping power. Power is sent to a 12-bolt rear end equipped
with posi-traction and 3.73 gears, a combination that offers
excellent acceleration while remaining well-suited for comfortable
cruising.
Rolling on 17-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in fresh
Continental tires, this Chevelle has an aggressive yet refined
stance. Inside, the black interior is complemented by an upgraded
classic-style radio, allowing you to enjoy modern audio while
maintaining a vintage appearance. All work was completed in July of
2025 and is documented with over $20,000 in receipts, underscoring
