This 1999 GMC Suburban 2500 SLT is a very nice, very clean, low
mileage Suburban that has only had 2 Owners. This vehicle spent its
life in the Pacific NW until 2023 when it came to Michigan and was
never driven in the winter. The owner got sick right after he
bought it and we purchased it from his son. We believe this was
some sort of Fire Chief truck based on some of the items that were
in the vehicle like a built-in inverter, dual batteries, coat hooks
in the rear, and obviously the color. The body on this Suburban is
super clean and straight. The Victory Red paint looks excellent and
it was professionally repainted because of clear-coat issues. All
of the chrome and trim appears to be original and still looks
great! There is an added push/bumper guard on the front. The
underside is also extra clean and we found no rust issues with this
vehicle.
The interior is in beautiful shape. The original leather seats look
great and the headliner, carpet, door panels, dash, and dash bezel
are also in great condition. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
It has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working power
windows and power locks. The power seats work and the heated seats
work. The factory stereo works and the horn and windshield wipers
work. This vehicle has front and rear heat and AC which are also
working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives
excellent too. The original 7.4L 454 V8 runs strong with no issues
or red flags that we found. Recent maintenance includes a new
waterpump, new alternator, and new dual batteries. It has the 4L80E
Automatic transmission that shifts great. It is mated to the np246
transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the
Corporate 14 Bolt rear axle with 4.10 gears and a factory limited
slip. the front axle is the IFS with 4.10 gears. It is sitting on a
beautiful set of factory GM HD wheels with like new Toyo HT tires
size 265/70/16.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
