1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible Offered on behalf of a friend,
this 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible has been a daily driver
for 29 years, which speaks volumes about its reliability and
character. Originally purchased in New York in the late 1990s, the
car was road-tripped all the way to California and has remained in
regular use ever since. The Falcon is remarkably rust-free and has
solid overall bones. Everything works as it should, including the
power convertible top, lights, and gauges. It runs, drives, and
stops properly, and the registration is current through 2027. The
engine is dry, while the transmission would benefit from a new pan
gasket to address minor leaks. In recent years, the fuel system has
been updated with new fuel lines, an electric fuel pump, fuel
pressure regulator, and a new carburetor, and the battery is brand
new. Mechanically, the car would benefit from a general overhaul,
including replacing aging rubber components such as suspension
bushings, motor mounts, tires, and servicing the fluids. The
interior is in need of a refresh, and while the power top mechanism
works perfectly and the frame is in good shape, the canvas top is
tearing and will need replacement. This Falcon is not a turn-key
show car, but a solid, honest convertible with great history and
excellent bones. B Important Information - Please Read Before
