INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front seats and the folding rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include power steering and brakes; a spray-in bed liner; floor-mounted automatic transmission and transfer case twin-stick shifters; an AM/FM/Bluetooth Kenwood stereo system with four speakers, two subwoofers, and two amplifiers; and a locking center console with a hidden Kenwood control tuner.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The set of ISSPRO gauges mounted in a custom aluminum panel ahead of the driver includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the water temperature, voltage, oil pressure, transmission temperature, and fuel level. The odometer reads 10,205 miles, reflecting the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 crate engine paired with Holley Sniper fuel injection, a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, and a rebuilt twin-stick, dual-range transfer case. Output is reportedly 400 horsepower. Engine bay features include black valve covers, tube exhaust headers, an aluminum intake manifold, a black air cleaner, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, an HEI ignition, and dual batteries. A new power steering box was recently added.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Scout is equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
