Introduced as part of Cadillac's updated 1956 lineup, the Series 62 represented the apex of mid-century American luxury and engineering, with the convertible being the most expensive when new and the most collectible today. According to a digital copy of its Cadillac build sheet, this Series 62 was sold new in the Cincinnati, Ohio area after completing production in February 1956. Upon joining The Bill & Patti Spurling Collection in 2016, the car immediately underwent a complete frame-off restoration at Classic Car Restoration of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With the body removed, the frame was expertly restored to factory specifications while the bodywork was refinished in period-correct Mandan Red. Inside, a striking two-tone red and white leather interior was specified along with a white convertible top. Fully revitalized in a vibrant two-tone configuration, it was additionally restored with chrome Sabre-spoke wheels.

Today, this Cadillac Convertible continues to project the same postwar optimism and status, captivating anyone who passes by.
