The drivetrain has been professionally sorted by an RX-7 specialty shop, with ECU remapping and tuning optimized for strong, reliable performance, producing an estimated 325 horsepower without pushing the factory turbo system beyond its comfort zone. The twin turbos have been completely rebuilt, and supporting maintenance includes new spark plugs and wires, hoses, belts, Royal Purple transmission fluid, and a short-throw shifter for a more direct driving experience. A Greddy 4-inch stainless exhaust with twin tailpipes provides a clean, period-correct sound.

A custom body shop completed a full, glass-out repaint using epoxy sealer and primer, followed by five coats of Mazda Blazing Metallic Copper and five coats of clear, all sprayed in a dustless environment and oven-cured. Inside, the RX-7 remains clean and well kept, featuring an Alpine stereo, new embroidered carpet floor mats, new rubber window seals, a new tinted windshield, and tinted side and hatch glass. Braking has been refreshed with cross-drilled rotors and pads, filled with silicone DOT 5 brake fluid.
