This 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS is a beautifully presented example of
one of Chevy's most iconic full-size muscle cars. Finished in a
striking teal exterior, the car has a timeless presence that
perfectly captures the spirit of mid-'60s American performance. The
paint pairs exceptionally well with the bright chrome accents and
sits confidently on 15-inch chrome 5-spoke Cragar wheels, giving
the car an unmistakable SS stance.
Inside, the Impala features a crisp white vinyl interior with
bucket seats and a center console, maintaining the sporty yet
comfortable feel the Super Sport models are known for. The
console-mounted Powerglide automatic transmission adds to the
period-correct driving experience, while power steering and fully
functioning heat make this Impala enjoyable and easy to drive in
real-world conditions.
Power comes from a 327ci V8 that was rebuilt approximately 500
miles ago and bored .060 over. The engine is fitted with a mild
camshaft, delivering a healthy rumble and strong street manners
without sacrificing drivability. A new exhaust system complements
the setup, providing a great sound while allowing the engine to
breathe properly.
Mechanically, this Impala has seen extensive recent attention. The
suspension has been fully overhauled with new tie rods, ball
joints, bushings, shocks, and coil springs, resulting in a tight,
confident ride. New brakes further enhance safety and performance,
making this car as solid on the road as it is good-looking.
Overall, this 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS offers the perfect blend of
classic style, tasteful upgrades, and dependable mechanicals. It's
a standout cruiser that looks right, sounds right, and drives the
way a true Super Sport should.
