The orginal 36hp engine has approximately 1500 miles on it since rebuilt, Solex 28PCI carburetor, Bosch VJU 4 BR8 distributor, currently installed 12v Tudor alternator (the 6v Bosch generator in the picture has been rebuilt to 12v with correct voltage regulator included in trade), rebuilt German fuel pump, new SR11X Bosch starter, replacement Rancho Performance transaxle and replaced wiring harness.
The Volkswagen Dolphin Blue (L337) exterior is complemented by front and rear European style stainless steel bumpers, giving it a vintage appeal. Black convertible top with boot. Black vinyl seats with black marble tweed inserts. Original rear seat set. Period correct charcoal carpet set with rubber floor mats.
Additional touches such as the installation heavy duty heater channels/reinforcement rails, a set of 165R15 BF Goodyear with 2-1/4” whitewall tires, new chrome hubcaps installed (original hub caps to be included in trade), seat belts, period-correct bamboo package rack, modern RetroSound radio, All chrome pieces (less window cranks) have been re-chromed with beautiful luster, plus miscellaneous additional gaskets and chrome adornments included.
