This Chevelle has some very desirable features on its clean
original body. Looking down both sides, it is very straight. It
wears a factory color Cranberry Red, code 75 accented with black
vinyl top. There are Tuxedo Black SS stripes running down the
functional Cowl Induction hood and down the rear trunk lid. Other
features include factory hood pins and functional Cowl Induction
hood. The emblems, headlight bezels, windshield and rear window
moldings are in good shape. It rides on a set of 14" factory style
SS wheels wrapped in 225/70/14 BFG TA radials. It is powered by its
correct CTX 396 350HP motor with casting number 3968854. The VIN on
the block matches the VIN on the car. It has a few performance
upgrades: Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, Holley Snipper
Fuel Injection set up, HEI ignition, factory chrome valve covers,
Cowl Induction air cleaner, power steering and 4-core radiator with
factory fan shroud. It has a set of long tube headers, GM hoses
with the correct tower clamps, factory spring type battery cables.
The engine bay has a satin black finish. The interior is pretty
much new from the carpet to the headliner, including new seat
upholstery and cushions. It features black bucket seats, factory
console with Hurst four speed shifter sticking out of it with
correct chrome shift knob, AM radio, factory SS 3-spoke Sure Grip
steering wheel, factory tach and gauges, front and rear GM seat
belts. The undercarriage is all clean metal and painted in a black
satin. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the Muncie 4
speed manual transmission. It has power front disc brakes. It has a
2.5" dual exhaust system with Flow Master mufflers and stock
tailpipes running out the back with correct cowbell tips. It has a
12 bolt rear end with 3:31 gears and F41 suspension, new gas tank,
straps and fuel sending unit. The E-brake assembly is all hooked up
and working. The trunk is all clean original metal. It has a light
coat of trunk spatter paint, spare tire, trunk mat and new weather
stripping. This Chevelle SS performs out of this world! It is
