Description:
This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was refurbished and modified
under previous ownership with a 454ci V8 and a refinish in maroon
over black. The power plant is backed by a TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission and equipped with Edelbrock components, a
Demon carburetor, long-tube headers, polished accessories, and an
aluminum radiator. Modifications below include a MagnaFlow dual
exhaust system, a VBP composite rear leaf spring, and drilled brake
rotors.
Interior:
The cabin features bucket seats reupholstered in black leather as
well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. A Custom
Autosound head unit is connected to a cargo-area-mounted soundbar.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a
tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline, while instrumentation found in
the center stack includes an analog clock along with displays for
fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage.
Exterior:
The car was refinished in maroon, and the glass was replaced.
Features include retractable headlights, removable roof panels,
chrome bumpers, side vents, and dual exhaust outlets. American
Racing split-five-spoke wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and
275/40 rear Falken tires.
Drivetrain:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission. The 454ci V8 was installed under previous
ownership, reportedly with an Edelbrock Performer power package
including a camshaft, cylinder heads, and intake manifold.
