The engine is equipped with a full-flow oiling system, including an external oil filter, oil cooler with thermostat, high-pressure oil lines, and a full-flow oil pump for excellent lubrication and temperature control. A chromoly gland nut, new seals, gaskets, bearings, and proper high-zinc break-in oil were used during assembly. Electrical reliability is improved with a new internally regulated 12-volt alternator.

Power is delivered through a freeway flyer transmission, making this Beetle significantly more comfortable and usable at highway speeds compared to a stock setup.

Suspension and braking have been upgraded to match the performance. The car features a dropped adjustable front beam, allowing for both the lowered stance and proper alignment.
