1934 Ford Hot Rod - 440 V8 - Long-Term Ownership - Recent
Mechanical Refresh This 1934 Ford Hot Rod has been owner-built
approximately 50 years ago and remained in long-term storage for
the past 36 years, with the last two years spent recommissioning
and preparing the car for sale. Power comes from a 1967 Dodge
R/T-sourced 440 V8, which has been rebuilt, and is paired with a
727 automatic transmission, professionally rebuilt. Power is sent
to a 3.56-geared 10-bolt Positraction rear end. Significant recent
mechanical work includes: Rebuilt engine Rebuilt transmission Brake
system refreshed with new wheel cylinders, flex lines, and master
cylinder New fuel pump New Edelbrock carburetor New water pump New
gel battery and battery cables New air cleaner The car rides on
four new tires mounted on new American Racing wheels, measuring
15x10 inches in the rear and 14x6 inches up front, giving it a
classic hot-rod stance. The vehicle has always been garage-kept and
stored under a car cover. The interior and carpet remain remarkably
preserved, presenting much as they did when originally completed
decades ago. This hot rod can be enjoyed as-is or updated further
to suit the next owner's vision, offering a rare opportunity to
acquire a long-owned, traditionally built hot rod with extensive
recent mechanical attention. Important Information - Please Read
