Production ran for just six weeks, from mid-March to mid-April
1970, with only 2,724 units produced in total. 340 Six-Barrel
engine: The AAR was powered by a special 340 cubic-inch V8 topped
with three two-barrel Holley carburetors on an Edelbrock aluminum
intake. The engine was officially rated at 290 horsepower and 350
lb-ft of torque, though many enthusiasts believe its output was
closer to 340 horsepower.
