Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this
striking 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP, boasting a vibrant Aggressive
Red exterior that captures attention and admiration wherever it
goes. The GXP version of the Solstice debuted at the Los Angeles
Auto Show in January 2006. This pretty Pontiac packs a punch of 260
horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque from a direct-injection
turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter version of GM's
four-cylinder Ecotec mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, and
it is the first gasoline direct injection engine from the American
automaker.
The Solstice was a runaway hit for Pontiac, with 7,000 orders in
the first 10 days of availability and 6,000 more orders before
winter. The Solstice was nominated for the North American Car of
the Year award and Design of the Year award from the Automobile
Journalists Association of Canada. It was the brand's first
two-seater since the Pontiac Fiero was discontinued in 1988. The
GXP version added a stiffer suspension, a taller axle ratio, and a
shorter third-gear ratio in the same five-speed Aisin transmission
as the Red Line models. Other GXP features include standard
Stabilitrak traction control, a limited-slip differential, and
anti-lock brakes.
Inside, you'll find a sleek black interior that complements the
car's sporty persona. Comfort is guaranteed with air conditioning
to keep you cool on warm days and a manual convertible top that
lets you embrace the open-air experience whenever desired. The
Solstice GXP is designed for those who appreciate both aesthetics
and functionality, featuring aluminum wheels that enhance its
dynamic look while providing a stable ride.
This model is equipped with an AM/FM/CD radio, offering
entertainment as you navigate your way through city streets or
countryside highways. Safety and convenience are at the forefront,
with features such as anti-lock brakes, an anti-theft system, and
both driver and passenger airbags ensuring peace of mind on every
drive. Cruise control offers the ease of maintaining speed on long
journeys, while power brakes, power locks, power steering, and
power windows provide seamless control and accessibility.
You also get radial tires, a rear defogger, seatbelts, and a tilt
steering wheel, all of which contribute to a comfortable and secure
driving experience. Traction control adds another layer of
stability, helping you maintain grip and control in various driving
conditions. This little pocket rocket combines classic convertible
charm with modern performance and features, making it a compelling
choice for those who appreciate the thrill of driving.
