Why this one? Look very close at pictures.... Painstaking attention to detail on every nut and bolt from the front bumper to the rear bumper, completed by Redemption Studios Ventura. Over $80,000 spent to restore this car to the owners exacting specifications. Not a $25000 coupe with a nice paint job and nice interior. Everything, with the exception of the rear end gears and rear window crank mechanisms has either been restored correctly, replaced with new, or upgraded to builders specs, including all parts being aligned and spaced with proper body line gapping. Details matter and an open checkbook, is how the owner has directed his building of the cars he identifies as deserving to be saved and then be reintroduced to the younger car generation. Even down to the windshield washer system, along with the hood mounted turn signal indicators, dual horns, and H4 fluted headlights.
Rebuilt 302, Rebuilt C4, Cold Case Radiator with dual electric fans, Edelbrock Intake and four barrel carb, new billet pulley system, pertronix electronic ignition and upgraded coil, flowmaster dual exhaust, upgraded disc brake front end and lowered springs with all new suspension components, all new power steering system and components, all electrical systems replaced or updated, and all power hungry items now use switched relays instead of the old school "big draw dimmers and switches". Everything built for the long haul.
New interior including disassembly and restoration of gauge cluster, all new seat covers, foam, restored frames, dual remote control rear view mirriors, beautiful Stangaholics reproduction full center console ($$$) , Killer stereo sound, with Retro Sound blue tooth head unit, Rockford Fosgate amp and Rockford Fosgate 6x9 in rear, and 6 inch in front kick panels, all new heater box and controls, and new headliner. Complete cabin encased in dynamat and heat prior to reassembly.
Stang rolls on American Racing Torq Thrust 2's with BF Goodrich rubber. Come have inspected or take it for a test drive, one of the finest examples around of a show quality build, built to enjoy daily. The owner is a dear friend of ours, we finished two builds for him, and restored a golf cart for him, and he is now on the hunt for his next rescue project. The owner has put a whopping 200 miles on the build (he is scared of scratching it or getting it dirty) and we put our customary 400 miles on the build prior to delivering it to the client... 600 miles total on new build, and it lives comfortably in a garage on persian rugs.
A must see if you love the color combo and 1968 Mustang coupes!!!
