Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this 1975 Corvette Stingray
Convertible in excellent condition with both the soft top and
auxiliary hardtop and only 43,070 original miles. The car looks
great, runs awesome, and is a nice driver. It is finished in the
highly desirable color combination of Classic White over Saddle
Leather interior with a white soft top. Please peruse all of the
photos, video, and other information to get a true sense of how
nice this Corvette really is. The previous owner of this Stingray
was a Corvette enthusiast who also owned a 1971 Stingray big block
and a 1996 Corvette Collector Edition.
We have the car priced to sell and are offering an excellent
opportunity to own a very desirable Corvette Stingray convertible
at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell
it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market
on C3 Corvettes is very hot right now and on the rise. The low
original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car,
but also the clear Ohio title, pictured in this ad, showing the
mileage as "Actual."
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We
hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come
from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give
the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and
encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car
inspected at our location. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you
can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question
about the Corvette, just give us a call.
Exterior
The Classic White exterior is in very nice driver condition. As one
can see in the photos the finish has a nice gloss, smooth finish,
and great shine. Both doors open and shut nicely. The rally wheels
and center caps are in excellent condition with a brilliant finish
and no curb rash. Please note that this car has the correct and
original 4-clip beauty rings, not the cheaper foreign made
aftermarket replacements. The Cooper Cobra raised white letter
tires are brand new with less than ten miles on them and correctly
sized 225/70R15. The soft-top does show some age and there is a
crack in the rear window. The hardtop fits well. There are no major
blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from the photos.
There are some small chips, touch ups, hairline cracks, bumps, and
other tiny imperfections that were too faint to show up in photos,
but nothing that is really noticeable from about five or ten feet
away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside this car
is very clean underneath and has no rust issues. The frame is
totally solid around the "key hole" area in front of the rear tire
and we have seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield or
"birdcage" area, which are the most common spots for rust on a C3
Corvette. We have included specific photos of the areas most prone
to rust to show how nice this car looks.
Interior
The Saddle interior in this Corvette is in outstanding condition.
The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal
clear. The seats are in excellent shape and look just as nice in
person as they do in the photos with no holes, split seams, or
excessive wear. The seat is not overly worn in the typical area on
the bolster where the driver gets in and out, there is just a small
amount of wear there. The carpet also appears to be original and in
nice shape with no major stains. This includes the rear carpet,
which is often neglected. There is a small spot of wear in the
driver's footwell, but as one can see in the photos it covered by
the mat. The door panels are in wonderful shape overall, there is
one small crack in the typical spot where the drivers elbow rests.
The door pulls are solid and intact. The dash and console look
awesome with no cracks, fading, or sun damage, there are three
small spots that appear to have been repaired from where something
was mounted to the dash in the past. Both seat belts work and
retract properly. This is a common problem on C3 Corvettes and an
item many buyers do not think to check. The original radio is still
in the car and still works. Most importantly the original dash has
never been cut or modified for an aftermarket installation. The
spare is still with the car. This Corvette has never been smoked
in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes.
Corvette interiors from this era are not known to wear well,
especially for a convertible, and the excellent condition of this
interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention
this car has received throughout its life and another great
verification of the low mileage.
Mechanical
This Stingray convertible seems to be in very good mechanical
condition. The engine starts right away every time, and runs well.
The Corvette is an awesome driver that feels great the road and at
highway speeds. In the video in this ad one can observe the car
accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all
the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves.
Please note that there are no strange noised or vibrations and the
car performs quite well overall. It runs cool and does not
overheat. The gauge shows that the engine makes great oil pressure.
The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other.
There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. Also, the
engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as
one can see in the photos. The original ignition shielding, air
cleaner, stamped steel valve covers, and catalytic converter are
all still in place.
The horn works as do the wipers, indicators, interior lights,
exterior lights, and dash lights. Even detailed items like the kay
buzzer still work. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all
speeds. The air conditioning itself works and blows cold. The
vacuum system for the headlights works correctly. Also, the
headlights go up properly with either the headlight switch or
vacuum override switch under the column. Their complete operation
form both switches can be viewed in the video. All of the gauges
work with the obvious exception of the clock. Not enough can be
said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car,
especially with the top down on a beautiful day.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1975 Corvette convertible is in terrific driver
condition. It is a great value and we have it priced it to sell.
This car turns heads and gets ton of attentions wherever it goes.
The 74 and 75 Convertibles are still some of the best deals around
in the Corvette market they are solid investments for a collector.
While this Stingray is not numbers matching, it does have a 3970010
engine block, which is correct for a 1975 Corvette. The car does
not have a trim tag as one can see in the photos. The prices of C3
Corvettes have increased drastically over the past years. Cars like
this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. One could easily
enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the
purchase price with minimal effort.
Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call
with any questions.
