In true muscle car fashion, it is powered by a fully built L89 396ci engine with aluminum heads, all backed by an upgraded Tremec 6-speed transmission. For superior driving and handling, the entire suspension has been upgraded with full Hotchkis Stage 2 TVS Suspension System. For ultimate stopping power, it has been upgraded with a complete Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brake conversion. This was the right way to improve a '60s muscle car for superior drivability.
Under the hood is fully detailed, featuring billet, chrome, and polished speed equipment that looks like a work of art. Even the aluminum heads have been polished! From the serpentine belt system to the huge aluminum radiator and everything in between, only the best equipment was used in the build. Current Condition:
This car received a beautiful restoration about 13 years ago, but it looks as if it was done just a few years ago. It has been refinished in the classic Lemans Blue and hand-rubbed to a smooth glass-like finish. The body is completely solid and rust-free, with a very clean undercarriage. The chrome, glass and trim are all excellent. The interior has been fully redone in correct Parchment, and the dash and gauge cluster are bright and clean. The car features a white canvas convertible top. The trunk is finished off beautifully with its correct trunk mat and spare.
Mechanically, the engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt. The dual exhaust system sounds fantastic, and the car is equipped with upgraded brakes and suspension. Everything works in the car, including the lights, gauges, horn, and wipers. The car is set up for air conditioning with a billet A/C compressor and condenser already installed under the hood. You can leave it as is, or to make it functional, you can complete by installing a Vintage Air unit under the dash.
The car has always been very will-maintained and cared for. It runs and drives amazingly-very fast, handles like it's on rails and stops on a dime. Just completed Decon wash, Fallout/Claybar, Enhancement polish, Panel prep, 3-year Feynlab Ceramic V3 Coating on all painted surfaces.
Super nice car now! unfortunately limited on garage space and have a new one coming that needs this space.
