This 1950 Ford F-1 Restomod short bed checks every box for being
truly car-show ready. Finished in Boxwood Green with Tan trim, the
colors complement the truck's big, bulky curves perfectly. The
painted Tan wheels with bright beauty rings and Ford center hubcaps
lock in an authentic 1950s vibe with just the right amount of retro
attitude. Up front, the stock-style appearance of the grille,
headlights, and hood has that timeless look that never goes out of
style. Shaved door handles, relocated tailgate handle and hinges,
custom rear bumper, chrome tailpipes, and custom tail lights give
the truck a clean, polished rear-end view. And this truck package
includes a matching trailer and a matching Honda mini-bike.
The interior is just as impressive, and blends retro styling with
an OEM-inspired finish. The custom door panels are solid, the bench
seat is in excellent shape, and the aftermarket steering wheel
still delivers that old-school feel. The OEM-style gauge cluster
and Boxwood Green dashboard, accented in Tan, tie everything
together beautifully. Retro A/C controls pair nicely with the Lokar
shifter, while a JVC Bluetooth head unit and Pioneer speakers
handle the tunes. Clean carpets, bedliner-coated side steps, and a
wooden plank-style bed flooring just keep the restomod look
flowing.
The matching mini trailer is a showpiece of its own, wearing the
same bed flooring finish as the truck bed. It features matching
wheels and an aluminum toolbox up front. Strapped to the trailer is
a restored Honda Trail 70 mini-bike, making this setup a guaranteed
crowd-pleaser.
Under the hood presents well, featuring a 5.0-liter fuel-injected
V8 mated to an AOD-E 4-speed automatic transmission that sends
power to an 8.8 rear axle. Up front is a Mustang II-style clip with
tubular upper and lower control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and
coil-overs, while the rear uses a simpler leaf-spring and shock
setup. Braking duties are handled by front power disc brakes and
rear power drum brakes.
16-inch tan steel wheels with beauty rings and Ford hubcaps are
wrapped in 225/60R16 Toyo Eclipse SE tires. For a retro-classic
sound to match the rest of the vintage vibe, shorty headers, a dual
exhaust, and Glasspack-style mufflers have been installed.
