What we have here is a true classic British sportscar from the
1960's. This is a 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mk III (BJ8) with 94,571
unknown miles on the odometer and very few miles on the car since a
complete mechanical restoration. The car is painted in Black,
complemented by a Black Leather bucket seat interior and a new
canvas Coral convertible top and Black vinyl boot.
This 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII (BJ8) is a great looking car and
is finished off with the correct, 60 spoke, knock off wire wheels
and is in very good overall condition. The 6 cylinder OHV 3 liter
engine with twin SU's was rebuilt by BritBits in NH and has lots of
power and starts up without problem. The gearbox is smooth and easy
to negotiate and offers overdrive so no matter what the road
conditions, she is overall a pleasure to drive.
The car has a floor mounted gear shift, a center console, wooden
dash and plush Red carpet. She has dual chrome wing mirrors, an
excellent matched set of radial tires and a telescopic steering
column; she also sports a beautiful wooden steering wheel. In
addition, the car is fitted with front disc brakes, a factory
heater and defroster and the convertible boot.
This is a very nice car for someone who is looking for a great
daily driver (climate permitting!!). Do not let the opportunity to
