Power comes from a date-correct Ford 289 V8, stroked to 331 cubic
inches, delivering enhanced performance while retaining
factory-correct appearance. Power is sent through a correct
Toploader 4-speed manual transmission to a Ford 9-inch rear axle
with 3.50 gears, providing an engaging and authentic driving
experience. The suspension has been subtly lowered to mirror period
Shelby styling, while front disc and rear drum brakes provide
confident stopping power.
Inside, the cabin has been fully restored to factory
specifications, featuring correct Black vinyl upholstery, restored
gauges, proper trim, and a correctly finished trunkfaithful in
every detail to how these cars left Dearborn in 1965.
