This 1965 Ford Mustang GT350 Shelby Tribute is finished in iconic
Wimbledon White with Blue Le Mans stripes and represents a
no-expense-spared build that captures the spirit of the legendary
Shelby while offering significantly enhanced performance and
drivability.
The car underwent a full restoration completed in 2013 and has
since been garage kept and selectively driven on fair-weather
summer days. Great care was taken during the restoration to balance
authentic appearance with modern performance upgrades. Under the
hood, the air cleaner retains a 289ci marking for period-correct
presentation, while the engine was upgraded to a 347ci stroker V8.
Custom TIG-welded headers feed into a full exhaust system,
delivering an aggressive yet refined Shelby-inspired sound. A 3""
aluminum radiator keeps this beast cool on the hottest of summer
days!
Power is routed through a 5-speed manual transmission, paired with
an aluminum driveshaft and a Ford 9-inch rear end, providing
confident highway cruising and strong acceleration. Four-wheel
power disc brakes deliver excellent stopping performance, while
adjustable rear air shocks contribute to a smooth, compliant
ride.
The interior features a Black leather cabin, complemented by shelby
styled gauges, AM/FM radio, powder-coated strut tower brace, and
rollover protection. Lightweight fiberglass components, including
the hood and front apron, complete the aggressive GT350 look while
reducing weight and enhancing performance.
This Shelby GT350 Tribute is a high-quality, thoughtfully built
driver, offering classic Shelby aesthetics with modernized power,
braking, and drivability. This Mustang is ready to be enjoyed on
the road or proudly displayed at shows.
