This 2003 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab Pickup is an exceptionally nice
truck with a ton of maintenance and extras. This truck was owned by
someone that spent around $35,000 on it over the last 8 years
improving, maintaining, and adding cool additions to it. We have
all of the receipts totaling over $35,000. The person who owned
this since the last 8 years was OCD and he bought and built this
truck to be an overland vehicle. He is a retired guy and only used
it as a pavement princess though and him and his wife went down to
1 vehicle so that is why he sold it. This truck is clean and
straight. The paint is still very nice with only normal wear and
tear and you can see that in the pictures. He had the bed
professionally bed-lined and it looks great. He had an ARB Front
hidden winch bumper installed along with a Rough Country 9500 Pound
winch that is hooked up and working. He also had an ARB wrap around
rear bumper installed. The underside is clean and encapsulated. The
frames on these Tacomas had rust issues so he had the frame
professionally repaired in the areas where the rust would be. He
had 2 separate kits professionally installed and encapsulated the
frame when it was completed. The body was completely removed from
the frame to do this. They did an excellent job and it looks great
(underside photos on our website).
The interior is super clean. The seats, carpet, headliner, door
panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and very nice. Non
smoker truck. It has a really nice upgraded stereo with Apple
Carplay/Android Auto along with a front and reverse camera. He also
put all new speakers in the truck. He has a NiLight Switch Panel
for the aftermarket lights and power. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. The power
windows and locks work. The power mirrors work. The horn and
windshield wipers work. The heat and AC also work. Everything has
been gone through by the last owner to make sure it was working
properly.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and dives awesome.
It has obviously been very well cared for, especially the last 8
years under his ownership. The engine is the 2.7L Inline 4 Cylinder
known for its reliability and longevity. It is totally stock. It
has the A340 Automatic Transmission that shifts great. It has been
serviced regularly. It is mated to the J Shift transfer case and
the 4WD works like it should. It has the 8.4 rear axle with 4.10
gears. The front axle is the IFS with 4.10 gears. The factory
aluminum wheels are still in great condition and the Toyo Open
Country All terrain tires still have plenty of tread left. This
truck has had neary every maintenance item addressed, but here is a
short list of some of the more major repairs: new front ball
joints, cv axles, axle seals, wheel bearings, sway bar bushings,
rack and pinion with tie rods, new brakes, new rotors. Rear axle
serviced with new rear axle seals, new rear axles, and new brakes.
New fuel tank, new fuel pump, new fuel filter and charcoal
canister. Full engine tune-up, new belts and hoses, new O2 sensor,
fuel injector service. 4 new Bilstein Shocks, new transfer case
switch and actuator.
