This 1967 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a 427ci
supercharged big-block V8 engine based on a 1967 396 four-bolt-main
block and features Dart cylinder heads, a Comp camshaft and
valvetrain, 8.5:1 pistons on Crowler rods, an 8-71 BDS supercharger
running 10% overdrive, dual Demon 850 blower carburetors and an MSD
6AL ignition system, with dyno-rated output of 750hp and 800 ft/lbs
of torque. Power is delivered through a Hughes-built 700R4
automatic transmission with a 2,900-rpm billet torque converter to
a Chevrolet 12-bolt rear axle with 4.10 gears. The truck was
constructed as a comprehensive ground-up custom build incorporating
a boxed and notched frame, four-bar suspension with a full air-ride
system and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. It rides on custom Lutro
Speedster wheels measuring 20x8 inches up front and 22x10 inches at
the rear, wrapped in Nitto tires, with a custom side-exit exhaust
system. The exterior is finished in Olive Drab Green gloss, while
the interior features Saddle Brown leather upholstery, a custom
aluminum dashboard, steel center console, Flaming River billet
steering column and an aftermarket audio system.
