1988 Jeep Wrangler Laredo - 4.2L I6 - Project, Mostly Restored 1988
Jeep Wrangler Laredo 2-door hardtop powered by the classic
carbureted 4.2L (258ci) inline-6 producing 210 lb-ft of torque,
paired with an automatic transmission. This is a project Jeep that
has been stripped to the chassis, repainted, and reassembled to
roughly 95%. I purchased it with the intention of finishing the
restoration but don't have the time or skill to complete the
remaining work. There are lots of new parts, and the previous owner
stated the engine was rebuilt during the restoration, though no
paperwork is available to confirm. The Jeep runs and sounds strong,
but it must be towed as it still needs electrical and vacuum lines
completed. The remaining work is straightforward for someone
comfortable with basic mechanical tasks on a carbureted
vehicle-these YJ Wranglers are simple, accessible, and easy to work
on. Since the photos were taken, additional items have been
installed, including bumpers and side steps. Included with the
sale: Hard top Hard doors Half doors Soft windows Car cover A large
assortment of extra parts Offered with a clean title and no
accident history. A very cool, nearly finished Wrangler project
that just needs the right person to complete it. Important
