Intro
1994 BMW 530i Touring restomod extensively modified by Joe Ryder, Bimrtechnik, LTD. It has a comprehensive rebuilt 4.6L M60 V8 engine with Alpina forged internals mated to an E39 M5 Getrag 6-speed manual transmission. The suspension was extensively overhauled with BC coilovers, 850i aluminum control arms with spherical bearings, and adjustable components throughout. The new Glasurit Urban Green paint was meticulously applied over proper bodywork with galvanic primer. The interior showcases E34 M5 seats and Alcantara appointments. This is a rare opportunity to own a properly executed E34 Touring that delivers both performance and practicality. It has a clear title and is in New York.
Exterior
The doors off body work was completed in 2024. It has a two-stage Glasurit Urban Green Paint, Galvanic Epoxy Primer, Block Pro Sealer929 UV and Karlac Clear Coat. It has an OEM M Technic front bumper with trim, OEM Euro market lower moldings, custom Matte Shadowline exterior trim and roof rails. It has E36 M3-style exterior rearview mirrors and Alpina badging. The extensive suspension overhaul includes BC Coilovers, 850i aluminum control arms with spherical bearings, and adjustable components throughout. The work completed in 2025 includes a 3.91 rear differential, new axles, new center driveshaft and F30 4 piston calipers in the front with Angry Ass Spiegler Stainless lines, Zimmerman rotors and refreshed rear brakes and pads. It has AC Schnitzer 18" x 9” front and offset 18" x 10” rear wrapped in Nankang CS tires. The exhaust was done in 2025.
Interior
The black interior was completed in the last two years and showcases E34 M5 front seats and Alcantara appointments. It has front and rear Anthracite Alcantara Headliner, Alpina steering wheel, Alpine Head Unit, Focal front speakers, Infinity Reference rear speakers, Recaro Pole position front driver seat with pepita fabric and VAC seat base, custom made Alcantara shift and E Brake boot and Alcantara door cards. It has completely new dash, vents and trim.
Mechanicals
All the following work was completed in 2024: 4.6L Alpina forged bottom end 12:1 compression ratio, forged crankshaft with Hollow Journals, forged I-beam connecting rods, Hypereutectic Pistons, M60b40 cylinder heads, custom head gaskets M60 metal timing Chain Assembly, VANOS Deleted, M60b40 Camshafts, M62TuB46 Valve Springs, M62b46 Intake Manifold, M62b46 fuel injectors, custom cold air intake, custom Turner and Conforti Engine Management Tune, Bavarian coil packs, 740i thermostat, and Angry Ass Grounding cables. It has new power steering lines, new radiator and lines, Condor engine mounts and Braille battery. It has the Getrag 420G 6-Speed E39 M5 Transmission, Sachs M5 Clutch Disc and pressure plate, Garagistic Spherical ball shifter with carbon rod Condor Gearbox mounts, ECS stainless clutch line and fittings completed in 2024 and 2025. New upgraded fuel pump, new twin fuel filters PS lines all replaced and flushed. It completed three oil changes in the last 150 miles (LiquiMoly) to break in the engine.

Car was built by Joe Ryder in Colorado and finished in New York. This car is turnkey and ready to drive and enjoy. There was no expense spared in this build. You will be hard pressed to find a BMW restomod wagon of this caliber. It is very quick but composed when cruising.
