Classic Car Addict is proud to present this restored 1967 Ford
Mustang coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The
first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March
1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new
class of automobiles known as pony cars. The Mustang's styling,
with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and
inspired a host of competition.
Exterior:
The car is finished in Brittany Blue with Wimbledon White stripes
and is fitted with custom glass hood with scoops and a Shelby
inspired deck lid with that famous Shelby molded spoiler. From
factory it wore (H) Diamond Green Paint, Ford #2067-A.
Interior:
Black reupholstered front and rear bench seats. The wooden
three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and
auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, alternator, and
coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 60,487 miles,
TMU. The Philco radio is not currently working. AC was upgraded to
R134 and blows nice and cold. Originally a parchment vinyl mustang
(2U).
Engine:
A replacement 289ci V8 replaced the tired factory 289. The original
three-speed manual transmission was replaced with a C4 three-speed
automatic transmission. Power steering, Newer Edelbrock four-barrel
carb, new alternator, and new distributor.
Suspension:
Front suspension is Mustang II and rear is leaf spring with shock.
It has the original 3.00 conventional rear axle.
Wheels and Tires:
Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires are mounted on the 14" American
Racing wheels with 215/70R14 (DOT date code of 2018). A spare tire
is located in the trunk.
