For Sale at Auction: 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS in Scottsdale, Arizona

This custom 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS is powered by a 350ci V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. It was styled by Tom Chafin of Barris Kustoms, based off a Hot Wheels design. Finished in custom Pearl White with green flames, it has been heavily chopped by 4 inches, restyled and lengthened 2 feet for a futuristic look. The doors have been converted to suicide-style with electronic door poppers, and the fenders are flared at the wheel wells to accentuate the body lines. It features a handmade front grille, an enlarged hood peak, rounded hood and trunk corners, shaved rocker panels, removable roof panels integrated into the roofline, a frenched-in antenna below the back window and scoops added to the rear quarter-panels. The custom interior includes a wraparound rear seat, while the suspension is raised and lowered by hydraulics. It rides on chrome wire wheels with whitewall tires.
