This very nice, straight Carmine Red TR6 had a nice restoration,
then it sat static in a garage under a cover. We obtained the car
and were pleasantly surprised by how very nice the car is. Review
the pictures posted and note the very straight body panel gaps,
exactly as one would want. The body panels themselves are
straight.
The most impressive characteristics, other than nice cosmetics is
how nice the car is mechanically. The compression test came back as
follows: #1-140 lbs,#2-140 lbs,#3-140 lbs,#4-140 lbs,#5-140
lbs,#6-150 lbs. The car is exceptionally smooth and tight, more so
than almost all the TR6 cars that come through. This car is "one of
those" that just comes together, pure pleasure to operate.
Suspension, brakes, and clutch are all in good order.
The gauges are crisp, clean, and work as designed. The wood dash is
void of cracks, as is the knee pad and dash top.
Soft top is good, as are door cards, carpets, and seat faces.
Paint is excellent, as is all chrome and bright work.
If you are seeking a nice, well-sorted TR6 one can be proud of,
review this car.
