GR Auto Gallery of Indianapolis is pleased to present this highly
desirable 1971 Chevrolet C-10 Short Bed, a true classic muscle
truck that blends vintage style with modern drivability. Finished
in a striking metallic silver exterior over a clean black interior,
this C-10 has a bold presence that looks just as good cruising as
it does parked.
Power comes from a strong 350 cubic inch V8, paired with a 700R4
automatic transmission with overdrive, making this truck equally
comfortable on the highway or around town. Performance upgrades
include an Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor, aluminum
Chevrolet Racing valve covers, and Hooker ceramic-coated headers
feeding a custom dual exhaust with an H-pipe for an aggressive,
throaty sound.
Comfort and convenience haven't been overlooked. This C-10 is
equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, functional
heat, a tachometer with full gauges, a RetroSound radio, and TMI
bucket seats, giving it a modern driving feel while retaining its
classic charm. The exterior is enhanced with American Racing Torque
Thrust wheels, a steel cowl hood, HID headlights, tinted windows,
and dual mirrors, all contributing to its aggressive,
period-correct look.
Underneath, the truck has been thoughtfully upgraded with CPP sway
bars, new shocks, and slotted and drilled front rotors, improving
handling and braking performance without compromising ride
quality.
As part of Chevrolet's celebrated "Action Line" generation, the
1971 model year introduced notable updates, including the
distinctive egg-crate grille design and standard front disc brakes
on all light-duty trucks, significantly reducing brake fade. It
also marked the introduction of the upscale Cheyenne trim, further
elevating the C-10 lineup.
If you're looking for a classic muscle truck that delivers style,
sound, and comfort in equal measure, this 1971 C-10 Short Bed
checks all the boxes. Drive it home from our showroom today, or let
us assist with shipping anywhere in the United States. Please don't
hesitate to call with any questions or for additional
information.
