Completed by Cars by Constance, this custom 1968 Ford Mustang
fastback is powered by a 408ci Windsor stroker V8 crate engine from
Performance Unlimited, paired with a custom-built 10R80 10-speed
automatic transmission from Monster Transmission. Built from a
seasoned 351W roller block, the engine features forged internals, a
custom Comp hydraulic roller camshaft, AFR aluminum heads and
intake, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and MSD ignition
components, and was dyno-tested at 450hp. Exhaust is routed through
Hedman headers and a custom 2.5-inch MagnaFlow system. The car
received a full rotisserie restoration with a new floor, custom
transmission tunnel, mini-tubs and a fabricated front subframe
featuring Martz tubular suspension, power rack & pinion steering,
drop spindles, sway bar and double-adjustable QA1 coilovers at all
four corners. Stopping is handled by Wilwood 13-inch 6-piston front
brakes and 4-piston rear brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, an
integrated Wilwood parking brake and a remote vacuum assist master
cylinder. The rear suspension consists of a Martz four-link with
Panhard bar and a custom-width Ford 9-inch rear axle with Moser
axles and Truetrac differential. Supporting systems include an
Aeromotive fuel system, Optima battery relocation and a complete
Exclusive Wire Works wiring harness. The interior features a custom
TMI design with Pro Classic seats, Dakota Digital gauges, billet
pedals, power windows, Old Air Products air conditioning and a
Pioneer Apple CarPlay head unit, with the trunk finished to match.
