If you're in the market for a cool classic that is fun to drive,
easy to work on, affordable, and ready to show, this 1978 Super
Beetle convertible is a great fit! If you've never gotten behind
the wheel of a classic Beetle you are missing out!
This one features a custom paint color of Burnt Orange Metallic.
Paired with EMPI wheels and black convertible top, it is a real
show stopper.
The interior is redone in black cloth and vinyl so no worries of a
hot seat in the summer! An 8-ball shifter knob and convertible top
boot finish off the interior nicely. It comes with a new dash
cover, but the dash in the Beetle is not in bad shape, just a few
smaller cracks.
The trunk is very clean with a nice carpet mat and the spare tire
in place.
The engine is a 1,600 CC 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission. This is the Super Beetle so it has McPherson struts
in the front for a tighter turning radius and better ride quality
than the standard beetle. The convertible top drops easily and gets
tucked away under the top boot to protect it and give a more
buttoned up look.
