This 1985 Toyota SR5 Pickup is an original Deluxe Extended Cab
example equipped with a carbureted 22R engine, a 5-speed manual
transmission and a factory four-wheel-drive system. It is also
fitted with power steering and factory air conditioning. The truck
has undergone an extensive two-year restoration, beginning with a
complete strip to bare metal, followed by a full refinish in 2024
Toyota Voodoo Blue. Custom multi-colored graphics inspired by early
factory sport stripes were applied using PPG basecoats and sealed
with clearcoat. The chassis was upgraded with a new Old Man Emu
suspension lift, including springs and shocks, and the truck rides
on 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires mounted to new
vintage-style white spoke wheels. Additional exterior features
include a spray-in bed liner, KC Daylighter front auxiliary lights,
a custom rear bumper with integrated hitch, tinted glass throughout
the cab and a camper shell equipped with screened windows, a
swing-out rear door, tinted glass and a roof-mounted cargo rack
with side lighting. This rust-free truck was originally purchased
in Tucson, AZ.
