GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this 2013 Chevrolet Camaro
ZL1, finished in deep black and taken far beyond anything
resembling a stock example. The widebody ZL1 stance, factory aero,
and functional carbon hood insert give this Camaro an aggressive
and purposeful look that immediately signals something serious
lives underneath. The black exterior pairs perfectly with the ZL1
trim and presents clean, mean, and well executed, whether it is
parked or charging down the road.
THIS CAMARO CARRIES A REBUILT TITLE PER FLORIDA
What truly separates this Camaro from the rest is the engine, which
is no longer the factory 6.2L at all. Under the hood sits a highly
modified LSX based 427 cubic inch stroker engine that was
professionally built for boost and E85 by a specialty high
performance shop in West Palm Beach Florida, not a weekend garage
build. There is documented investment of roughly $29,000 in engine
components alone. The block is bored to 4.125 inches and assembled
with a forged Callies Compstar 4340 crankshaft, Compstar H beam
rods, and Wiseco flat top forged pistons, along with boost gapped
rings and upgraded internals throughout. A BTR Stage 3 PDS torque
cam and supporting valvetrain components give the engine strong mid
range punch while remaining boost friendly. Airflow is handled by a
Nick Williams 103mm drive by wire throttle body. The quality of the
rotating assembly and overall build places this setup realistically
in the 900 plus horsepower capability range with the proper
supporting mods and tuning. Power is delivered through a 6 speed
manual transmission, and this Camaro has recently received a
freshly built engine, transmission, and clutch, making it
mechanically fresh and built to be driven hard.
Inside, the cabin retains the factory ZL1 performance focused feel
with black leather and red stitching throughout. Heated seats, heat
and air conditioning, Boston Premium audio, and ZL1 specific
interior touches including the factory ZL1 trunk liner are all
present. It remains comfortable for cruising while still feeling
tight, planted, and driver focused when you roll into the
throttle.
This Camaro does carry a rebuilt title, which is reflected in the
value and is part of what makes this level of performance
attainable. It is worth noting that the car was not rebuilt as the
result of a major collision and it presents extremely well. With
its professionally built LSX 427 stroker engine, documented high
dollar motor build, E85 capability, fresh drivetrain, desirable 6
speed manual, and unmistakable ZL1 styling, this Camaro stands far
apart from a typical ZL1. It is an opportunity to own a brutally
fast, professionally built modern muscle car that offers extreme
performance for the money.
