1966 PONTIAC GTO PHS DOC, 389 CI, TRIPOWER, 4 SPEED! This is one
clean 1966 GTO! Looking down both sides it is straight. It looks
amazing in Dark Red Metallic. The paint has a smooth and glossy
finish. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. It sits on
a set of Cragar SS wheels with BFG T/A radial tires,15x7 225/70/15
in front and 15x8 with 275/60/15 in rear. The engine bay is nice
and tidy with a completely rebuilt date coded correct 389 ci engine
that has a few performance upgrades: Tripower set up, HEI ignition,
factory chrome valve covers and a 4-core radiator. It also features
power steering and a power brake booster with an upgraded dual
master cylinder. The black interior is in great shape with new seat
cushions and seat covers. In between the bucket seats is a factory
4 speed console with a factory Hurst 4-speed shifter coming up
through it. The door handles, armrest bases, sill plates and kick
panels appear to be original. Looking forward to the dash: the
Rally gauges, tachometer and speedometer look good and operate
correctly. The dash pad is nice, no cracks. Looking up at the
floors, it is all clean metal and appears to be original, no patch
panels. The motor and Muncie 4 speed transmission look clean as
well. It has a dual exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers and factory
style tail pipes running out the back. The E-brake assembly is
complete and working. The trunk is all clean metal, complete with
trunk mat and spare tire with jack assembly. It has a light coat of
Gray and White spatter paint finish. This 1966 GTO runs and drives
phenomenal!! This gorgeous GTO turns heads everywhere you go!!
