1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This custom 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 received a professional frame-off rotisserie restoration with every bolt and component either replaced with new or fully refurbished. It is powered by a rebuilt high-performance 4.2-liter Man-A-Fre 2F inline 6-cylinder engine with forged high-compression pistons, tuned headers, Weber carburetor and performance ignition system. Power is delivered through a completely rebuilt transmission, transfer case and axles using new bearings and seals throughout. It features four-wheel power disc brakes, Saginaw power steering, air conditioning and a 4-inch lift with new springs, shackles, bushings, bolts and shocks. The vehicle retains original sheet metal and floors, and was stripped to bare metal, epoxy primed and refinished in Toyota Freeborn Red using PPG materials. It includes powder-coated stock wheels, restored jump seats and a refurbished rear heater. The interior features black upholstery, new tempered glass (except wing and corner windows) and all new rubber seals. Every emblem, decal, bolt, seal and gauge was replaced or refurbished, with correct paint marks and factory labels recreated. The underside is finished with powder-coated frame, chassis, bumpers and axle housings. All systems are fully functional on this Land Cruiser, which comes with a factory Toyota tool bag and emergency light.
