The owner of this beautiful 1941 Ford Deluxe Coupe was a true Ford guy and built several great classics. He actually sold this classic back in 1966 and then bought it back nearly 17 years ago in 2009. Then the meticulous work began. It’s the flathead v8 mated to 3 on the tree and just floats down the highway at 60mph. We have extensive books with receipts, maintenance records, original 1966 bill of sale, owner history, etc.
All of the panels, hood, trunk, glass, seals and doors were removed as it was painted with a show quality secret color. I’m feeling it’s like a wineberry color. Maybe a Merlot or Cab Sav. The paint is absolutely perfect with no runs, waves or dry spots. She is a rust free classic and the undercarriage video shows you just how nice it is including the original floors. He went through all the mechanical, new Stromberg eFire distributor, upgraded to 12v with all new wiring, rebuilt the radiator, heating system, starter, upgraded to single wire alternator and even used the original gauges (which are pristine) and used voltage drop downs from 12v to 6v behind every gauge so they are fully functional. All new brakes, gas tank, electric fuel pump, etc. It’s an extensive list.
The mohair interior is in perfect condition as well with seat belts installed, new carpet and there’s even a hidden CD stereo in the back when you flip up the front seat. This one is turnkey and ready to take to the shows or the weekend cruises. You just can’t beat the body lines of these early 40’s Fords. Just absolute art in design. Check out how clean all the chrome is too and the stance with the Mclean true wire wheels and Cokar white wall radials is stellar.
Walkaround, cold start and undercarriage videos included. Driving video to follow once the roads are clean and dry. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see additional areas.
