This custom 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible represents the final year of the C1 generation and has been extensively updated with modern performance and drivability enhancements. Power comes from a 6.2-liter GM Performance LS3 V8 engine equipped with fuel injection and modern engine management, paired with a 4L65E 6-speed automatic transmission. Mechanical upgrades include a custom upgraded suspension, power rack & pinion steering, Wilwood power disc brakes and a posi-traction rear end. The original wiring harness has been replaced with a new American Autowire system. The exterior is finished in Adrenaline Red two-stage paint and fitted with an Al Knoch Stayfast black canvas soft-top. Schott wheels with modern tires are fitted in a larger size to accommodate the disc brake conversion. The interior has been completely redone in black leather with new carpeting throughout. Updates include a new center console, a new dashboard fitted with Dakota Digital gauges and a Vintage Air climate-control system.
