The body on the car is in pristine condition and was extremely well maintained. The car is finished in its gorgeous original Mercedes color of Signal Red and is in awesome condition. The car is straight as an arrow and looks spectacular. The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any collector car should be. The car is riding on the original 15" wheels with the correct size tires that are brand new. The windshield is like new with no chips. The black German Cloth soft top is brand new and was just installed. The hard top has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape. This car has also had the Euro small bumper conversion completed, and we can sell you a euro headlight conversion as well! The interior is in great shape all around. The dash and door panels are in like new condition. The supple original black leather seats are all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware lines, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also are fully functional. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. The sound system definitely adds to the driving experience of this roadster. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. This interior is in immaculate condition. The trunk compartment is clean enough to eat from. The spare tire compartment is clean as a whistle and the original spare tire is present. Original jack is in place and the tool kit is even still in the unopened bag. Mechanically, this SL runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The V8 engine is surprisingly quick and responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The car was always regularly serviced and maintained! Recent inspection upon arrival to AZ yields a clean bill of health. Under the hood is clean as a whistle and looks like new. I just had the oil changed, and brake fluid flushed and the car given a once over and its all ready to hit the road with the top dropped!
