This 1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible is powered by its rebuilt
original 312ci V8 engine paired with the original automatic
transmission. The powertrain was rebuilt as part of a documented
2.5-year restoration and retains factory specifications. The
chassis and suspension remain configured to original Thunderbird
standards. Stopping is handled by factory-style power-assisted
braking components. Exterior features include Raven Black paint,
factory-style chrome trim, Continental kit, fender skirts, window
wings, factory-type wire wheels, Goodyear whitewall radial tires
meeting original equipment specifications, a factory porthole
hardtop and a replacement deluxe black canvas soft-top. The black
and white interior features power seats, power windows, factory
instrumentation and a Town & Country radio. Other notable features
include factory power steering and Ford-type air conditioning. All
work on this T-Bird was performed by certified ASE-licensed
professionals with supervision by a Classic Thunderbird Club
International senior judge. The restoration, which was thoroughly
photographed and documented, matches the data plate and the car's
original invoice, which is included with the sale. This Thunderbird
had recent maintenance performed in 2025 by Abramson Automotive in
Mesa, AZ.
