This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Custom pickup is a factory California truck that has been fully restored and updated while retaining an original appearance, including a 1968 C10 front clip and factory big-window cab. Power comes from a 5.3L LS engine equipped with a BTR Stage 3 camshaft, aluminum aftermarket intake, stock throttle body and injectors, custom valve covers, knock sensor delete plate, CVF billet pulley system with air conditioning and power steering, new aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, new heater hoses, braided stainless lines with polished aluminum AN fittings for A/C, power steering and Hydraboost, and a War Performance wiring harness and ECM. The engine is paired with a new 4L60E automatic transmission and a 2,700-rpm stall converter, with the engine and transmission color-matched to the truck. Exhaust and chassis upgrades include stainless steel headers with V-band connections, a 2.5-inch polished stainless steel Coffin exhaust system, a painted and C-notched frame, new panhard bar, new shocks at all four corners, powder-coated wheel wells and core support, and all new U-joints in the driveline. Braking is handled by a CCP Wilwood Hydraboost system with master cylinder and all-new brake components.
