This custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is built on a
custom Street Shop chassis with Art Morrison frame rails, C7-style
aluminum suspension components, QA1 adjustable coilovers, and
C7-spec disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers.
Additional features include rack & pinion steering, Dakota Digital
power hood actuator and an E-Stopp electronic parking brake. Power
is provided by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine producing 540hp,
mated to a GM Performance 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission.
Engine components include a fabricated aluminum intake manifold,
Holley Terminator EFI, Corvette finned coil covers, coated headers,
side-exit exhaust and an aluminum radiator with a Spal electric
fan. It is finished in metallic blue with silver Stinger hood
stripes and a white Stayfast convertible top, and the fiberglass
body has been fully refinished. Exterior equipment includes Detroit
Speed electric flip-up headlights, 19-inch chrome Schott wheels and
Falken Azenis tires (265/35 front, 305/35 rear). Interior features
include Cream leather bucket seats and door panels, brown
square-weave carpeting, Vintage Air climate control, power windows
and locks, and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo. This car is offered
with only 156 miles since the build completion.
