This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible is powered by a
6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a GM Performance 4L70E 4-speed
automatic transmission and was completed as a comprehensive custom
build in 2024. The refinished fiberglass body is mounted on a
custom Street Shop chassis utilizing Art Morrison frame rails and
incorporates C7 Corvette-style aluminum suspension components, rack
& pinion steering, adjustable coilovers, independent rear
suspension and C7-spec disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston
rear calipers supported by an E-Stopp electronic parking brake. The
LS3 is equipped with a fabricated aluminum intake, Holley
Terminator electronic fuel injection, Corvette-script finned coil
covers, aluminum radiator with Spal electric fan and coated headers
feeding a side-exit exhaust system, with the engine bay smoothed
and detailed throughout. Exterior features include a power-operated
Stinger hood using a Dakota Digital actuator, Detroit Speed
electric headlight motors, split chrome bumpers, capped wiper
studs, side-exit exhaust and a white Stayfast soft-top on a
replacement Coffman Corvette frame, with the underside of the
floors and fender wells finished to match the body. The car rides
on Schott 19-inch wheels wrapped in staggered performance tires.
The interior was retrimmed with custom bucket seats and door panels
upholstered in Cream leather, complemented by square-weave
carpeting, a wood-rim steering wheel, carbon-style dash with
Classic Instruments gauges, Vintage Air climate control, power
windows and locks, and a RetroSound Bluetooth audio system, while
retaining its original VIN and Trim Tags.
