This custom four-wheel-drive 1977 Ford Bronco was frame-off
restored and customized and is powered by a new ATK 351ci roller V8
engine equipped with an Explorer serpentine accessory drive, Holley
650 carburetor, Summit Racing HEI distributor and Champion aluminum
radiator with Ron Davis shroud. The engine is backed by a freshly
rebuilt C4 automatic transmission with a Hughes Performance torque
converter and deep pan, supported by dual fender-mounted external
coolers, and a Dana 20 transfer case fitted with a Wild Horses
extreme rear-output system and JB Fab twin-stick shifter. Power is
delivered through Tom Woods driveshafts to a Ford Truetrac locking
differential with 31-spline chromoly rear axles. Exhaust exits
through Ford Motorsport ceramic-coated headers and dual Flowmaster
mufflers. The suspension system is entirely new and includes Tom's
Bronco long-travel radius arms, Wild Horses 3.5-inch rock crawler
front coils, 3.5-inch rear leaf springs, JBG shocks, James Duff
classic traction bars, Hellwig front and rear sway bars and a
2-inch body lift. Stopping is handled by all-new components,
including front disc brakes, stainless-steel brake lines, a
Hydrotech hydraulic brake-assist system and a floor-mounted
emergency brake. The refurbished body features new front fenders,
rockers, kick panels, pillars, NOS floor pans, rear quarters and
doors, along with new Scott Drake vent windows, glass and
regulators. Additional exterior equipment includes PNW quarter
guards, Tom's Bronco fender flares, custom front and rear bumpers,
rocker guards, a 12,000-pound front-mounted winch with remote
control and a rear bumper-mounted tire carrier with provisions for
a high-lift jack and 5-gallon jerrycan. The frame and axle housings
are powder-coated black, and the exterior is finished in PPG Orange
basecoat/clearcoat paint. The interior is fitted with AutoMeter
Z-Series gauges, tilt steering, PRP front seats, three-point
seatbelts front and rear, a lockable center console, under-seat
storage box, Kenwood stereo with speakers, USB and 12V charging
ports integrated into a custom dash, and LED lighting throughout.
Occupant protection is enhanced by a six-point Tom's Bronco family
cage, and the cabin is enclosed by a brand-new Rampage soft-top.
The Bronco rides on new 16x10-inch polished aluminum Ion wheels
wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain 35x12.50 tires, including a
matching spare. The restoration was completed approximately 3,200
miles ago, at which time a new odometer was installed and set to
zero. The sale includes a folder containing over $30,000 in parts
receipts.
