This custom 1963 Chevrolet Impala topless roadster known as "Sexxy
Red" is powered by an all-aluminum Texas Speed 408ci LS V8 engine
equipped with a Stage 2 BDS 871 supercharger, paired with a
powder-coated Stage 3 FTI Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Engine
management includes a Holley Dominator system with Holley injector
driver, 16 injectors and a chrome-plated Holley high-ram intake,
with ignition coils concealed behind the dashboard and a CVF front
drive kit installed. The chassis features a narrowed chrome 9-inch
rear end fitted with 35-spline axles, a powder-coated Yukon third
member, chrome hydraulic cylinders, gold-finished trailing arms and
wishbone, and a fully wrapped and smoothed frame with custom
overlays. Stopping is handled by Wilwood disc brakes throughout.
Exterior features include a topless roadster configuration,
extensive chrome and gold-plated suspension components and all-new
glass and seals installed during the build. Interior features
include a custom Ciadella interior with new carpeting, Dakota
Digital instrumentation, all-new 24K gold steering components and a
custom audio system consisting of dual 8-inch subwoofers, six 6x9
speakers and dual mega tweeters powered by four pumps and eight
hard-lined batteries. Other notable features include construction
by Zack Pennock of Breton Creek Customs and a featured appearance
at the 2024 SEMA Show.
