This 1967 Ford Mustang convertible is powered by a 289ci V8 engine
mated to an automatic transmission and equipped with power
steering, power front disc brakes, power-operated convertible top,
dual exhaust with GT-style chrome twin tips, grille-mounted GT fog
lamps, Custom Autosound radio, and a factory chrome engine dress-up
kit including valve covers and air cleaner. It features a custom
console and rides on styled steel wheels with new BFGoodrich Radial
T/A raised white-letter tires. The vehicle has undergone a
comprehensive total restoration using original and refinished
parts. Finished in Vintage Burgundy with a parchment convertible
top and parchment interior, it retains its original body panels.
The engine bay and trunk are detailed and include a
reproduction-style trunk mat, spare tire cover, spare wheel with
mounted tire, jack, and lug wrench. The body, floor pans, and frame
rails are solid, and the hood, trunk lid, and doors open and close
with minimal effort. The engine runs and the transmission shifts
without hesitation. Updates include a custom air conditioning
system.
