commemorate the 47th Indianapolis 500 and is documented as the
actual pace car driven by 1957 Indy 500 winner Sam Hanks at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It is powered by its original 413ci V8
engine paired with a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission
operated by Chrysler's dash-mounted push-button shifter. The car
emerged from approximately 40 years of storage before undergoing a
professional restoration. The exterior is finished in event-correct
Pace Setter Blue with white commemorative lettering, turbine-style
multicolor hubcaps and narrow whitewall tires. The interior
features an exclusive Alabaster vinyl bucket-seat cabin with center
console, quad-design steering wheel and factory air conditioning.
The vehicle is accompanied by curated memorabilia display board
that includes items personally signed by Indianapolis 500 winner
