This custom 1974 Dodge Challenger is powered by an updated 440ci by
Wheeler Racing Engines stroked to a 496ci engine producing 501hp
mated to a matching-numbers 833 4-speed manual transmission, fully
rebuilt by Passon Performance. The engine block, aluminum heads and
intake manifold are painted to match the exterior. Riding on fully
powder-coated front suspension components with all new MOOG
bushings, Offset UCA bushing for increased camber adjustment. 1
1/8-inch front sway bar with .996 torsion bars and KYB Shocks with
adjustable pinion snubber. Rolling on 235/60/15-inch Mickey
Thompson Sportsman SR front. 275/60/15-inch on back, both on
polished Centerline Warrior wheels. Finished in Go-Mango Orange all
body panels are epoxy primed and rust-free. It features a new,
professionally installed vinyl top, factory bumpers triple show
chromed and relocated inward with polished stainless hardware. The
floor was channeled for all welded sub-frame connectors and
factory-correct HEMI torque boxes were installed for increased
horsepower tolerance. The interior has been soundproofed with
RaamMat and Ensoline Neoprene layers. It features a new windshield,
carpet, seat covers, headliner and fully restored interior panels
as well as a totally rebuilt Rallye dash cluster with rebuilt
factory tach with new circuit board from RTE, quartz movement in
the clock, ammeter and bulkhead bypass for fire safety.
